Zio Song is the founder of South Korean brand SONGZIO. SONGZIO was founded in 1993.[1] Zio Song is regarded as one of South Korea's best designers. [2]
Song's son, Jay Song, is the current CEO and Creative Director at SONGZIO.
Early Life
Zio Song is a graduate of the acclaimed ESMOD in Paris in 1987. [2]
Career
ZSong started showing at Seoul Fashion Week in 1993 and did it till 2006. Song debuted at Paris Fashion Week in 2006; where he gained international acclaim for the strong graphic and visual elements within his designs, exemplify avant-garde architectural silhouette.
His contribution to Korean fashion was recognised by his appointment in 2016 as the Chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers of Korea (CFDK).[3]
