Help:Using Templates
This is a guide on how to use The Fashion Codex templates that are available at your disposal.
In order to use a template, you first need to create a new article which you can do by searching for the article you'd like to create in our search bar at the top of the site.

After you've put the name of the article you'd like to create into the search bar, it'll look like shown below.

Press the highlighted text with "Search for pages containing Example Designer".
You will reach a new page with the text: "Create the page for 'Example Designer' on this Wiki!" Press the highlighted text.

After you've clicked highlighted link, you'll reach a new page where you can create an article. You will be greeted with this. You can find all available templates following the "greetings" message.

Press 'Insert' and then move down to 'templates'. Press 'templates' and you will reach a new menu where you can search for your desired template based on the category of article you'd like to write.

Press 'Insert' before 'template'.
Search for the template based on the desired article you want to write, we'll pick 'Designers' for this example.

Press the 'Designers' option.
Press the highlighted blue button with 'Insert' at the top right corner of the menu.

Press 'Insert'.
It should looks something like this once pressed the blue 'Insert' button.

Pre-editable template.
This template can't be edited yet, but it's a very easy fix. Next to 'create' above the blue highlighted 'save page', you've got 'create source'.

Press 'create source'.
You will reach a new page that looks like this.

Editable source code.
You will see a text with "Designers", in order to fully edit the article with the template you've added. You need to add 'subst:' with the colon ahead of "Designers". It'll look like this "subst:Designers".

Scroll down and you will find a blue highlighted buttoned with "Save page".

Press the blue highlighted button.
Once that has been done, your newly created article with a pre-created template is ready to edit. You can press edit in the top corner next to 'read' and 'edit source'.

Press 'edit article' right next to 'read' and 'edit source'.
You will now be able to edit and write your own article. Happy editing!
