WeAr Magazine is a global B2B magazine founded in 2004 by , and originally based in Switzerland. Known for its focus on B2B, connecting buyers and sellers within the fashion industry. The magazine prides itself in its duality of being a trade magazine whilst also proving to be an excellent coffee table book due to its design and covers.

Background

WeAr is the only leading global B2B magazine for fashion & footwear published in 8 language versions: German, English, French, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Russian and French. It is distributed to over 50 countries on all 5 continents.[1]

WeAr Magazine covers selected mens-, womens-, footwear-, and accessory collections from all around the world. It features lookbooks, runway photos, and the latest news from the most important trade shows and fairs.[2] With its primary readers being industry professionals such as buyers, retailers, designers, brands, and agents, the global editorial teams focuses on aiding buyers, and designers.

Aside from their magazine, they also have a platform called 'WeAr Global Network', which acts as a way of communicating with retailers on a daily basis, whilst also featuring tools for industry professionals.[2][3]

WeAr Select Digital

WeAr Select Digital functions as an online-platform for emerging brands, thereby reducing costs for both buyers and brands whilst increasing visibility through being available online throughout a season. The global editorial team of WeAr visits trade-shows and showrooms all over the world to select the best of emerging designer.[2]

WeAr DigiShows

With the fashion industry growing more and more for each year, WeAr DigiShows was invented to create a way of attending showrooms without flying around the globe, which is also a way for the magazine to showcase a different way of sustainability. The Digishows allows buyers to see collections in a perfect environment in a digital 3D showroom.[2]

WeAr Denim

WeAr Denim caters to the denim community in its entirety: sourcing, fabrics, yarns, washing, finishings, brands and the relevant retailers. It reports about the latest innovations, and sustainable technologies. While WeAr Global Magazine strives to perfectly curate and visually stage the finished products, WeAr Denim deals with the entire preliminary stage from the denim & casual sector. The aim is not only to describe fabrics and innovations verbally, but to illustrate them visually.[2]
